HOW CAN I PLAY THIS?

(-2)

If you're going to make grinding impossible (by making enemies not respawn), you NEED to specifically design the game around that, which you clearly haven't.

Enemies do respawn, simply leave the dungeon and re-enter. I generally don’t find grinding super necessary just because of the sheer amounts of encounters the game throws at you, but it’s still an option.

There's definitely enough encounters for leveling and most if not all players would notice the enemies respawning in after exiting the dungeons and returning, don't worry! That commenter is a troll at worst and hasn't spent any significant amount of time playing the game at best.

You did a wonderful job with this game and I can't wait for the sequel! ❤️💙💜

Thanks so much! Comments like this really motivate me :DDD

I did and they don't.

Which dungeon doesn’t respawn the monsters? Just checking the very first dungeon and aside from the very first one that blocks the way and introduces encounters, the rest respawn just fine.

In testing, I never needed to grind so much even on the hardest difficulty, so I could have missed a dungeon. Which one didn’t work for you?

I realized that maybe it's just the first one that doesn't respawn, but I defeated another encounter and that one din't respawn either.

This is one of our favorites. All six of us have played it more than once.
Curiosity strikes though; have you ever considered porting this to/remaking with MV/MZ, the latter allowing for better use of tiles (no need for events for overlaying tiles(!))
...
Of course, a lot obviously went into customized RGSS coding that would have to be redone in a different format, and it's quite obvious that it might not be worth it to the development team to redo so much. 🤷🏻‍♀️
...
Anyway, good to see another gem of a game on a safer platform; hearing whispers and rumors of RM forum sites beginning to wobble like unstable Jenga towers...

Thanks very much! :D I'm working on a semi-sequel, Izrand Allure, now, and I considered remaking Luxaren in that engine, but honestly, I'm not sure I would be able to go through with it. Part of what keeps me moving forward is making new stuff, so redoing an old game like that might actually be difficult for me to get done when I've got a lot of ideas for new games.

Thanks again!

Aye, aye; definitely keeping eyes out for Izrand Allure.
